Farhan Akhtar: The Rock On star's projects to be released in 2020

Farhan Akhtar, the actor-director-producer was recently seen sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink. Though the film couldn't earn great numbers, the actors were hugely praised for their performances. The star has some exciting projects waiting to be released in the year 2020. Toofan 

Toofan is Farhan’s upcoming film which is planned to hit the cinemas on October 2, 2020. The film stars Farhan Akhtar as an athlete who plans to be one of the top boxers. The film stars Paresh Rawal, Isha Talwar, and Mrunal Thakur too, who will be seen taking a good amount of screen space.  The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Anjum Rajabali. Farhan is not only the lead actor of the film but also a joint producer along with Ritesh Sidhwani, Mehra, P. S. Bharathi and Rajiv Tandon.

Inside Edge 2

Farhan recently took to his Twitter account to release the first look of Inside Edge 2, which the sequel to Amazon Prime’s first Indian original series. In the first season, Mumbai Mavericks, a T20 cricket franchise, was seen fighting to win the T20 tournament similar to the Indian Premier League. The second season will be produced by Excel Entertainment and is written as well as directed by Karan Anshuman.
