Kaun Banega Crorepati 10: Binita Jain Becomes The First Contestant To Win Rs 1 Crore

'Kaun Banega Crorepati' 10 found its first crorepati in Binita Jain. The woman who hails from Guwahati left host Amitabh Bachchan and the audience amazed after her effortless performance. Reportedly, speaking about being the first crorepati on the season, Binita stated that she is completely elated and never expected to win a crore, but now that she has, she feels like she is on the top of the world. Surprisingly, she also guessed the right answer for the seven crore question but had already quit the game by then. While on the hot seat, Binita opened up about her personal life. Reportedly, her husband was abducted 15 years back and has never returned home. Stating that the incident has only made her stronger, Jain revealed that she was distraught after what happened, but soon gathered courage as she had to look after her children. Last year, Jamshedpur's Anamika Majumdar won Rs 1 crore and quit the show when she was unable to answer the jackpot question.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan honoured the Indian hockey team. Hockey team captain PR Sreejesh, Arjuna Awardee Manpreet Singh along with other players were seen on KBC. Taking to Twitter, he posted "T 2942 - Honouring the Indian Hockey Team on KBC Karmveer episode .. their dedication, their effort for the country is beyond compare." The actor also shared some pictures from the episode.

'Kaun Banega Crorepati' airs on Television on weekdays during prime time. The season 10 of the game show premiered on September 3.
