Panipat: Arjun Kapoor praises the film's director Ashutosh Gowariker

Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in Ashutosh Gowariker directed Panipat: The Great Betrayal. The film is a historic period drama based on the life of Sadashivrao Bhau, the Commander-in-Chief of the Maratha army in the Third Battle of Panipat. The film is reportedly filmed on a grand scale. A replica of Shaniwar Wada was built in a film studio to shoot key portions of the film. While speaking in an interview with a news daily Arjun Kapoor talked about his experience while working with the director of the film.

Arjun Kapoor on working with Ashutosh Gowariker

As per reports, Arjun Kapoor described the film as an untold spectacle. He stated that Ashutosh went into tremendous details while making the film. The actor praised the director's approach in filmmaking, he believes that everyone who wishes to be an actor or director must visit Ashutosh Gowariker as he has worked and succeeded in both those aspects of the industry. Arjun stated that he is very proud to be a part of a magnanimous project like Panipat.

Arjun was reportedly all praises for Ashutosh Gowariker in the interview. The actor stated that there are directors and then there are filmmakers, Arjun categorized Ashutosh in the latter bracket. Arjun Kapoor added that the director gave attention to the most minute details of the film and did not lose any grip over any of the scenes. He stated that Ashutosh is very patient and calm when it comes to working. Finally, the actor added that Ashutosh Gowariker is a down to earth human being which makes it a great experience working with him.

Arjun has reportedly finished the dubbing for Panipat. The film features Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, Mohnish Bahl, Zeenat Aman and Padmini Kolhapure alongside Arjun Kapoor. The film is produced under Ashutosh Gowariker's production banner. Panipat: The Great Betrayal will release on December 6, 2019.
