Sonam Kapoor was recently interviewed by an esteemed media publication where she was quizzed about the recent turmoil between India and Pakistan regarding Kashmir and was also asked to comment about Pakistan's ban on Indian films and CD's.
Commenting it she said, "As an artist, you want to represented everywhere, and you want your work to be shown everywhere. 'Neerja' was not shown in Pakistan even though it was a true story, because the plane landed in Karachi and the hijack took place in Karachi, and it didn't in any way show Pakistan in a negative light at all but the fact that they didn't show the film there was really heartbreaking. I have a huge Pakistani following and two of my friends, they are Muslim and half Pakistani"

But India is violent.
Still sonam is patriotic!
Does Sonam Kapoor know pakistani artists are banned in India. Does she know Pakistani players cannot play IPL. Does she know pakistani channels are banned in India. Has she got any idea what’s going on in Kashmir since ages? Does she live on this planet. Utter nonsense— Farzana Shaheen (@FarzanaLAK) August 18, 2019
Clarifying her stance over the matter, Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter and wrote, Guys please calm down.. and get a life. Twisting, misinterpreting and understanding what you want from what someone has to say isn’t a reflection on the person who says it but on you. So self reflect and see who you are and hopefully get a job."
