As per reports, the court was examining the review petition filed by the actors against the charges framed by a trial court in September. Judge Pawan Kumar stated that the charges under which Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor were accused, like sections 141, 145, 146 and 147 of the Railways Act were nullified by the Sessions Court in 2010. The judge also noted that there was not enough evidence against the two actors to take action against them.

Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor were accused of pulling the train chain on March 11, 1997. The duo was shooting for the movie Bajrang then at Sanvarda village near Phulera in Jaipur district. It is being reported that the incident took place at the 2413-A Uplink Express at the Ajmer railway division where the train halted at Narena station in Phulera. The alleged incident of the chain-pulling led to a delay of 25 minutes for the train.

Both Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor had filed a review petition in the court. As per reports, action director Tinu Verma and another actor, Satish Shah, too were present during the alleged incident. The case will continue against them because they didn’t file a review petition like Sunny-Karisma, reports claimed.
