As Vidya Balan turned 40-years-old on January 1, husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, gave an amazing surprise to the retro lover. He got her face printed in the posters of some films that released in 1979, the year in which she was born and decorated a wall with the same.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is no doubt one of the most versatile actress of the industry. The diva who has mesmerized the fans with her iconic performances in 'Kahaani', 'Parineeta', 'Dirty Picture', no doubt has the 90's element in place and in fact, turns out that the actress believes that she was born in the wrong generation. 

As the actress turned 40-years-old on January 1, her husband, film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, gave an amazing surprise to the retro lover. He got her face printed in the posters of some films that released in 1979, the year in which she was born and decorated a wall with them. It also had a heder that read: "A star is born 1979". Vidya, who was overwhelmed with the surprise shared a video of the same on Instagram and captioned the post saying, "I've often said i was born too late and that i would’ve loved to be an actor in the 60’s & 70’s. My special someone ,#siddarthroykapur took me seriously 😜 and guess what!?? ... He got my face printed onto posters of some of the films that released in 1979 ,the year i was born 💃🏻🕺🏻!! #Canyoubelievethis!? 🥰🥰"

Moreover, she herself also dressed up as 70's heroine for the occasion. She shared a video of her makeover on Instagram and said, "Getting ready in the 70’s look for my 40th birthday was so much fun 💃🏻🕺🏻!!
