Miss World 2025: Meet Nandini Gupta, Miss India 2023 All Set To Compete With 120 Beauties Across The Globe

The 72nd Miss World is scheduled to take place in two months in Telangana, India and the preparations are in full swing. The beauty pageant will kick off on May 7 and conclude on May 31 with the jury announcing Miss World 2025. This year, Femina Miss India World 2023 will be representing India on the global stage. As she prepares for the big event, here's all you need to know about Gupta, who will compete with 120 beauties at the pageant.

Who is Nandini Gupta?

Indian beauty pageant titleholder was born on September 13, 2003, in Kota, Rajasthan. She completed her schooling at St. Paul's Senior Secondary School and pursued her degree in Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College, Mumbai.

Gupta, who dreamt of being Miss India since she was 10 years old, represented Rajasthan at Femina Miss India 2023 at the age of 19 and emerged as a winner. Just like her idol Priyanka Chopra, she will also be contesting in the Miss World beauty pageant.

The question that made Nandini Gupta winner at Femina Miss India 2023

During the final round, Gupta was asked whether she would choose to change the world or change herself instead. She replied, " think I would change myself because, just like appreciation comes from home and charity begins at home, change comes from within."

Elaborating her point, she said, "So if you have the power to change yourself, you can change the world. Because when you have the power to go through the change to accept the new you with the discoverable qualities and the new you, you can create a more significant impact on the world." Her answer left the judges impressed and showcased her vision for a better world.

India to host Miss World for the third time

Hyderabad will be the third Indian city to host Miss World. The first time India hosted the Miss World beauty pageant was in Bengaluru in 1996. After a 24-year hiatus, India hosted the event for the second time in Mumbai last year. The venue was the Jio World Convention Centre.
