Aamir Khan, Twice Divorced, Says He 'Needs A Partner', Answers If He Will Marry Again

Aamir Khan, who has two "unsuccessful" marriages, shared that he doesn't like to live alone. He revealed if he would be marrying for the third time.

Aamir Khan, who keeps his personal life away from media glare, in a recent podcast revealed that he yearns for a partner. The actor got married to Reena Dutta at an early age and together they have two kids - Junaid and Ira. However, in 2002, he announced separating and got married to Kiran Rao in 2005. The duo, who share a son, Azad, announced their divorce in 2022. Despite the two failed marriages, the veteran actor said he "likes companionship".

Aamir Khan recently appeared for an interview where an interviewee asked if she should get married. To this, the actor jokingly said that he had two "unsuccessful marriages", so don't ask for marriage advice from him. He further opined, "I don’t like living alone, I need a partner. I am not a loner, I like companionship. I am very close to both my ex-wives Reena and Kiran, we are like one family. Life is unpredictable, so how can we trust it? So marriages working depends from person to person.”

Will Aamir Khan get married for 3rd time?

In the same conversation, the interviewee asked Aamir Khan if he would marry for the third time. The Laal Singh Chaddha actor straightaway replied "No". Adding to it, he said he is 59 now and it seems difficult. "I have so many relationships in my life right now, I have reconnected with my family, my kids, etc. I am very happy just being with people who are close to me. I am working towards being a better person," he concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, co-starring Genelia D'Souza. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the movie is based on the Spanish film, Champions (2018).
