Ex-couple Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande have a pleasant exchange of words on Instagram

Break-ups in Bollywood spark different kinds of reactions from the concerned celebrities. While there are couples who won’t see eye-to-eye and plan their entry and exits at events according to their ex’s schedule, there are some who maintain cordial relations. Hrithik Roshan-Sussanne Khan, Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan are the best examples of the latter, while Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone also did films together post break-up.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande have been among the former type of couples who have maintained distance since their relationship ended a few years back. However, the former co-stars recently spoke on Instagram and the brief exchange would’ve surely delighted fans of the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ couple. 

Ankita is making her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Manikarnika’ and she shared her look as Rani Jhalkari Bai which set off buzz immediately for her fierce avatar with the rifle in her hand. Sushant was impressed too and conveyed his good wishes to the Bollywood debutante on casting director Mukesh Chhabra's post for her, writing, “It looks absolutely great Akita. I’m extremely happy to see this. May god bless you with lots of success and happiness.” 

The actress also replied warmly, sending good wishes back by commenting, “Thank you Sushant and I wish you the same.”

Fans of the couple who would’ve hoped for a lengthy conversation didn’t have much to cheer as it ended with Sushant sending the folded hands emoji. However, they would surely be happy about the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ couple sharing a heartwarming conversation. 

For the uninitiated, Sushant and Ankita were the power couple in Television industry when their show 'Pavitra Rishta' was on air. Since their break-up, the former has become a known face in Bollywood, while the actress is doing her first full-fledged project since their TV show ended.
