Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari 2 is performing well at the box office. The movie has grossed over ₹50 crore domestically in 8 days despite its limited release and the numbers indicate that there's more steam in this courtroom drama. On Saturday (April 26), Akshay and his co-star R Madhavan surprised fans at a special screening of the movie in Juhu, Mumbai. At the venue, Akshay spoke strongly against the Phalagam terror attack and the viewers responded in a similar tone, reflecting the nation's sentiment and resentment against terrorism.

“Unfortunately aaj bhi humare sab ke dil mein woh gussa phir se jaga hain. Aap sab log achchi tarah se jaante he main kis cheez ki baat kar raha hoon. Aaj bhi hum un terrorists ko ek hi baat kehna chahenge. Jo maine iss film mein kahi he, kya (Even today we are feeling the same anger all over again. All of you know exactly what I am talking about. Today also I want to say the same few words to the terrorists which I have said in the film. What)?”

The audience replied with the dialogue of Akshay, and said together: “F*** you”. The moment was euphoric at the theatre as the Bollywood superstar and the moviegoers appeared in complete sync with each other.

Akshay had previously taken to X to express his anger over the Pahalgam terror attack, which led to the loss of 26 inncecent individuals and injured many more. “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families," the actor had written on X.

Madhavan, meanwhile, had also condemned the barbaric act of terrorism on Indian soil and also backed the film bodies' decision not to collaborate with Pakistani artists.
