Taha Shah Badussha is being hailed for his performance as Tajdar Baloch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Owing to his performance, the actor has been labelled as the National Crush and is being compared to talented actors like Vicky Kaushal and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Now when asked about his feelings on being compared to them, Taha replied that they are comparing me to the "elite" actors.

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Taha mentioned that he doesn't know about the looks but they both are good actors.  "For me, looks don’t matter, for me the performance matters. So, if they are comparing me to Fawad, they are comparing me to Vicky, what else do you want man?" adding to this he said that they are not comparing him with somebody but to "elite actors".

In the same interview, he revealed that he is good friends with Vicky Kaushal as he was his senior in the acting school, Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. Not only this, but popular TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani was his classmate. Opening up about his relationship with Vicky, he called him his brother and added that he was a "great actor" in the institute. “And even at Kishore Namit Kapoor, Vicky was a great actor. And in my class, I was the top actor," Taha said.

Taha Shah Badussha has been in the industry for over a decade now. He made his acting debut in Luv Ka The End and went on to star in movies such as Gippi and Baar Baar Dekho. He has also been part of a famous web series Taj: Divided by Blood. However, it was Heeramandi that put him on the entertainment world map.

Apart from Taha, the web series also starred Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
