Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding: Aamir Khan dances to Tharki Chokro with Kiran Rao in viral video

Aamir Khan danced to Rajasthani folk music with Kiran Rao and Nupur's mother during Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's pre-wedding ceremony today.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got their marriage registered on January 3, in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. Now, the couple is all set to get married in a traditional style in Udaipur. Ira has been giving the daily dose of information on her social media handle but we also got a hand on a viral video, straight from the lake city, in which Aamir Khan, father of Ira, can be seen dancing.

In a viral video, Aamir can be seen dancing to Rajasthani folk music with Kiran Rao and Nupur's mother as the family starts the pre-wedding festivities. The actor, dressed in a white kurta and black pyjamas, can be seen dancing to his hit track Tharki Chokro from the film PK. The video is from the couple's Hi Tea, ceremony.

Today, the couple is hosting Hi-Tea at 4:30 PM for the guests, followed by a Welcome Dinner at 8 PM in Odeypore Lounge.

Inside Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's pre-wedding festivities

Ira and Nupur's friend and actress Mithila Palkar, who is also attending the wedding, shared a collage of two photos, offering a sneak peek on the first day of the pre-wedding ceremony. In the image, Ira wore a black velvet off-shoulder dress paired with matching boots and accessories with a choker. Nupur, on the other hand, complimented her in a black three-piece suit. The text on the photo read, "#GroomSquad".

Ira and Nupur will get married in a Maharashtrian wedding ceremony on January 10 in the presence of their family and friends. The newlyweds will then head to Mumbai and host a reception at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on January 13. The who’s who of Bollywood are expected to attend the reception.
