Manoj Bajpayee, who is presently counted as one of the most talented and consummate actors in the Hindi entertainment industry, has had a particularly good streak in the last 2-3 years with films like The Family Man, Sirf Ek Bandaa Hi Kaafi Hai and the much-acclaimed Joram that will have a theatrical release on Friday, December 8. However, the actor has had a long journey towards success, full of ups and downs. In a recent interview, Bajpayee opened up about the same and how he dealt with the stardom that has come to him after several years of hits and misses.
For some actors, success never arrives: Bajpayee
The Family Man actor was speaking to media portal Bollywood Bubble when he spoke about looking positively at the entire bittersweet journey. Bajpayee stated that one can’t think of it like this, like finding success in their career late or early. He added, “In my case, it’s atleast happening since last 5-7 years, but for some actors this moment, this phase never arrives at all.”
Bajpayee further said that one should just thank their luck and keep working hard and feel happy about getting it. “That’s the only feeling I have. Actually, there’s nothing to regret,” Bajpayee added.
There are always two ways to look at things, Bajpayee reflects
Bajpayee also spoke about the other side of achieving such success late in one’s career as he stated, “Maybe if it happened earlier then my old age wouldn’t feel so good. And since I didn’t get it back then, budhaapa achcha chala jaayega. So there are always two ways to look at things.”
Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming release Joram, directed by Devashish Makhija, marks his third collaboration with the director. The two had earlier worked together on acclaimed films, Bhosale and Taandav.
