Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, most details surrounding the project have been kept under the wraps. However photos from set as well as behind the scenes often make their way on social media. In the latest post shared by a makeup artist, the lead stars can be seen on the set.

Ranbir Kapoor -Sai Pallavi's photos from Ramayana set to go viral

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are all set to play the roles of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the film based on the Hindi epic. Earlier photos from the set wherein the actors could be seen dressed as their characters went viral online. Now, a behind-the-scenes photo has made its way on social media.

Bolly Blinds and Gossip a sub on the social media blogging app Reddit shared a photo of Sai Pallavi and Ranbir Kapoor , seemingly from Ramayana. The post was shared with the caption, “Filming for Ramayana officially concluded yesterday, with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi present for the last day of shooting.” However, there is no confirmation on whether the shoot for the film has concluded or not. The movie is said to be released in parts wherein the first part will focus on the childhood tales of Lord Ram. In the new photo, Ranbir and Sai Pallavi can be posing with the film crew on the set.

Ranbir Kapoor has completed 90 per cent of the Ramayana shoot 

Ranbir, who started the filming in April, has completed 90 per cent of the work, as per a source by Pinkvilla. “He had allotted bulk dates to Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra to play the part of Lord Ram, and the duo have been extremely professional to wrap up the shoot ahead of schedule,” revealed a source. The makers are planning to release Ramayana in 2026. "It’s a labour of love from the team of Ramayana to the audience, and they are leaving no stone unturned to make a film that represents India at a global level,” the source concludes.

Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film went on floors in April 2024. In the latest update, a report suggests that Yash and Sunny Deol will also be joining the cast soon. For the unversed, Yash is playing the role of Ravana, while Sunny Deol is Lord Hanuman, reportedly. Lara Dutta also plays significant role in the film and her photos from the set went viral a while back.
