Pakistani Actress Mawra Hocane Wishes To Collaborate With Ranbir Kapoor, Says 'Would Love To Do A Film Like Rockstar'

Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release turned, which released after nine years created storm at box office despite stiff competition from new releases. Amid this, Mawra opened up about her manifestation of working with Bollywood and named which celebrity she would love to work with.
Mawra Hocane expresses her deep admiration for Bollywood films
In an interaction with Instant Bollywood, Mawra Hocane said, “ Ranbir Kapoor —I would definitely want to work with him… would love to do a film like Rockstar with him. It is another movie which I’ve watched many time”.

For the unversed, Rockstar helmed by Imtiaz Ali starred Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kumud Mishra and Piyush Mishra among others. Rockstar was a critical and commercial hit during its initial release. It released in theatres in 2011.

Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release box office performance
Sanam Teri Kasam opened to a staggering ₹4 crore at the box office. After scoring a record ₹15.50 crore net in the opening weekend, the romantic drama, fared well despite facing stiff competition from new releases.

Mawra later reacted to the film’s phenomenal success and shared her happiness with her fans. She wrote on her Instagram handle, “Not me fainting to the numbers 'STK' re release is doing MashAllah absolutely magical! 'STK' re releasing is a testament to the fact that 'waqt se pehle or naseeb se zyaada nahi mil sakta'- I'm so so grateful for the love you’ve all poured in for the last 3 weeks.. it's unheard of.. they're saying we’ve made history”. She concluded by writing, "Lastlyyy Harsh... so lucky that you get to be in the middle of it all… hope you’re soaking it in on my behalf as well, to many more InshaAllah”.
Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the film had released in theatres on February 5, 2016. The movie also stars Manish Chaudhari, Anurag Sinha, Vijay Raaz and Murali Sharma among others. It was reportedly made on a budget of ₹18 crore and had minted ₹9 crore during the initial run.
