Stree 2 Box Office: Bollywood blockbuster Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is showing no signs of slowing down even its sixth weekend. The horror comedy, which released on the eve of Independence Day , is all set to enter the ₹600 crore nett mark at the India box office on Sunday, becoming the first Hindi film to achieve this feat. Earlier this week, it emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film, beating Jawan, and now, the entry into the ₹600 crore club is another feather in its hat.

Stree 2 to enter ₹600 crore club in its sixth weekend

Shraddha's Stree 2 business saw a jump in its collection on National Cinema Day on September 20. With tickets priced at ₹99, the turnout was tremendous. On its sixth Friday, the film collected ₹5.20 crore, followed by ₹3.80 crore on Saturday, taking its domestic box office collection to ₹598.90 crore. It will enter the ₹600 crore club on Sunday, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Stree 2 on OTT: When will the film premiere digitally?

Stree 2 has been running successfully in cinema halls for over 30 days now. Many are now awaiting its digital premiere. The blockbuster horror-comedy will premiere on Prime Video in the coming time. As per the contract between the film's production house and OTT platforms, the cut-off period for a film's digital release for a Hindi film is set at a minimum of eight weeks after its theatrical debut. This means that Stree 2 will premiere on OTT after mid-October and not before.
