Stree 2 Surpasses Gadar 2, Jawan, Animal To Become Highest Third Week Grosser

Stree 2 Box Office Collection: The Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkumar Rao starrer hit the big screens on August 15, coinciding with the Independence Day holiday, and created havoc at the box office. The film rapidly rose the ranks to become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies ever. In another box office record, after a 22-day theatrical run, the horror comedy movie has registered the highest business for the third week for any Bollywood movie ever.

Stree 2 achieves another feat at the box office 

Ever since its release, Stree 2 has been pulling audiences to houseful theatres. The movie shattered box office records when it minted ₹60 crore on day 1 of release, making it the highest opener of the year. It went on to register an upward trend in business thereafter. The Shraddha Kapoor starrer has amassed a total of more than ₹500 crore in its 22-day theatrical run, as per Sacnilk. 

The trade tracking site has also discovered that Stree 2 has registered the highest business amongst all Bollywood movies for the third week. In week 3 of its release, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer raked in ₹70.2 crore. The film has surpassed the third-week collections of Baahubali: The Conclusion (₹69.75 crore), Gadar 2 (₹63.35 crore), Jawan (₹52.06 crore) and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal (50.5 crore) to secure the top spot.
