The makers of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya recently hosted a success bash for the film in lieu of its stellar box office performance. Film leads Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon attended, the former attending with wife Mira Kapoor. The film tells the unique story of a human falling in love with a robot.

The Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya success bash was a star studded affair


The Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya success bash, hosted by the makers in Mumbai, saw the attendance of several celebrities. Shahid Kapoor, who leads the film as a robotics engineer, attended the event in tow with wife Mira Kapoor. Shahid sported his new buzzcut look paired with a casual grey button down and ripped stonewashed denims. Mira on the other hand, opted for a svelte marble printed midi evening dress.

Kriti Sanon, who played robot SIFRA, opted for a bright red bodycon as she graced the event. The actress also cut a cake on the red carpet, presented to her by a fan. Newlyweds Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani twinned in black as they marked their presence at the event. Rakul was notably sporting her choodas for the appearance. Pooja Hegde added a pop of colour to the red carpet, turning out in a full-length bright blue satin slip dress.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya's box office report


Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya released in theatres on February 9. The film was reportedly mounted on a budget of ₹45 crores. As per a Sacnilk report, the film's 19 day run at the theatres - which is still going strong - has minted ₹89.90 crores domestically.

The same report puts its worldwide collections at ₹127.5 crores. The film, directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is still running in theatres.
