Varun Dhawan is all set to star in a Atlee directorial film. The actor has collaborated with Atlee for his 18th film. The film was announced in the first week of July. Now, it seems like the actor has begun shooting for the film as a video of him with Atlee is doing rounds on social media.

After several reports of Varun Dhawan and Atlee collaborating for a film that did rounds on social media, there are finally visuals to confirm the same. On August 9, a video of the actor and director duo from the film set began doing rounds. The shoot for the film has begun in Mumbai.

A video shared by the paparazzi account of Manav Manglani featured Varun Dhawan in conversation with director Attlee. The video was shot from the set of a film. The video stands as proof of the actor joining hands with Atlee. 

What do we know about VD18 so far?

In the past months, there have been many speculations about the film. From the movie’s cast to the director, nothing about the movie has been announced officially. However, there is confirmation of Jubilee fame Wamiqa Gabi joining the cast of the upcoming film. This will be the first time when Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa will be seen sharing the screen space.

Not just Wamiqa, actress Keerthy Suresh’s name is also associated with the movie. It is reported that the actress will make her Bollywood debut by featuring in a pivotal role in the film. Apart from this, reports also suggest that Atlee is on board the film only as a producer and the Theri director Kalees will be helming the Varun Dhawan starrer.
