Regardless of his busy schedule, megastar Amitabh Bachchan consistently spends his time with his fans who gather outside his residence, Jalsa, to get a glimpse of him on Sundays. This past Sunday was no different, as the actor made an appearance to greet his fans. Recently, he took to social media and penned a note for his fans.

Amitabh Bachchan can be seen dressed in a tracksuit comprising of a black and white printed jacket and black track pants. He is seen joining hands towards the crowd in the video. One of the fans got Amitabh’s poster with "Bollywood ka toofan Bachchan" written on it, while the placard read, "Merry Christmas Bachchan family."
Sharing the video, he wrote, "this love and affection .. this debt .. this continuous greeting from 1982 every Sunday is one I shall never forget be able to repay."
Amitabh Bachchan reveals why he greets fans barefoot
Earlier this year, Amitabh Bachchan shared why he goes barefoot to meet his fans. He wrote, “some sarcastically commented on a few occasions .. ‘who goes out wearing socks and bare feet’ .. I say ..’I DO’ ! .. you got a problem with that !!?? ‘You go to the temple bare feet .. my well wishers are my temple !!'”
The Pink actor also talked about the importance of comfort wear and said, “Comfort be the elements of use in these times of uncared for attitudes , breaking away from any tradition that could have been imposed .. Shoes .. The comfort of the ‘sneakers’ or whatever else they may be called .. the nikes, the other brands , all .. now the formal wear irrespective .. that black patent leather, that polished bright , whatever , has disappeared .. the white bordered comfort wear be the IT .. !”
