This year, the idol is adorning maroon attire paired with magnificent jewellery. However, what grabbed everyone's attention was the opulent gold crown which took over two months to complete. Ambanis’ long-standing association with Lalbaugcha Raja
Anant Ambani has always been actively involved in various initiatives regarding the festival. This year, he reportedly donated a 20kg gold crown to Lalbaugcha Raja, per paparazzo Manav Mangalni. This gesture by Anant is a testament to his longstanding relationship with the Lalbaugcha Raja committee. His connection with the committee spans 15 years.
On Friday, the Ambani family welcomed Ganpati Bappa in their house with great pomp. The first glimpse of their Ganpati Bappa is also going viral, who is being called 'Antilia Cha Raja'.

Every year, the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja is installed in Pitlabai Chawl in Mumbai. This Ganesh pandal is the most famous and most visited pandal in Mumbai. The idol of Lord Ganesha, the destroyer of obstacles, installed in this world-famous pandal is known as Navasacha Ganapati. Apart from this, the speciality of Lalbaugcha Raja is that the design of the idol of Ganpati changes every year.
Lalbaugcha Raja temple was established in 1934. This grand temple of Ganesh ji is located in the Parel area of Mumbai, Maharashtra . Lalbaugcha Raja is worshipped as a god who fulfils wishes. The Kambli family has been handling the responsibility of making the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja for about 89 years.
There is a 5-10 km long queue of devotees every year to seek the blessings of Ganpati ji in the grand Ganeshotsav which lasts for 9 to 10 days.
