A new controversy sparked after social media influencer Orhan Awatramani aka Orry along with seven others booked for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, the base camp for the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi temple, by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. This came after he shared a video on his Instagram Story offering a glimpse of his time with his friends. In the video, Call Me Bae actor along with his friends, can be seen drinking and partying inside a hotel room. The video is now going viral on the internet with many lashing out at Orry for disrespecting Hindu sentiments. As many questions arise, here are some details about the cottage where Naadaniyan actor was staying with his friends.
According to sources from Republic, the hotel where he was staying was seemingly the Marriott Resort and Spa. The cottages are located in the dense pine forest of Katra with the view of the Vaishno Devi shrine.

Located about an hour's drive from Jammu airport, this newly opened luxury property joins the ranks of other high-end hotels in the area, such as Welcomhotel Katra and Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi.
The resort features standalone cottage rooms and suites, two ballrooms, a viewing deck, a spa, an outdoor pool, and a 24/7 gym.

According to the official website of Katra Marriott Resort & Spa, they offer two types of packages: guest rooms and premium cottages.
Guest rooms are priced between ₹6,650 and ₹8,000, while cottages range from ₹8,740 to ₹31,000. Prices vary based on additional facilities and applicable taxes.
The design of the property draws inspiration from the surrounding hillside and the spiritual essence of the temple town. At the heart of the lobby stands a rock sculpture, reflecting the sacred pindis of the Vaishno Devi temple. Above it, hundreds of miniature glass leaves and flowers hang in mid-air, creating the effect of a floral shower while reflecting sunlight onto the walls.
Part of the ceiling showcases an illuminated tetrahedron design, mirroring the cave interiors that pilgrims ascend to at Vaishno Devi. The rooms display framed photographs highlighting key elements of Dogra architecture.
