Urfi Javed Claims To Be Harassed By 15-year-old Boy: He Did That In Front of My Mother

Urfi Javed is known to not mince her words on or off social media. The popular influence is best known for her eccentric fashion choices and is a favourite subject of paparazzi. Urfi Javed is currently busy promoting her latest Amazon series Follow Kar Lo Yaar, a reality drama seemingly inspired by Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her bold portrayal of fame always surprises her audience, though occasionally attracts some backlash. Recently, during a promotional media interaction, Uorfi Javed faced a shocking eve-teasing incident involving a 15-year-old boy, which she later addressed on social media.

A teenage boy harassed Urfi Javed in public

Urfi Javed recently reported being harassed by a 15-year-old in Mumbai. On Wednesday, September 4, the social media sensation shared a troubling experience on her Instagram stories, where she revealed that a teenage boy publicly harassed her by asking, "What’s your body count?" The incident occurred while she was being photographed, with her family present. Urfi’s claims have sparked concerns about the behaviour of young teenagers and the safety of public figures in India.

The note that she shared on her Instagram story read, “Yesterday something extremely uncomfortable happened with me and my family, a group of guys were passing by while I was getting papped, a guy shouted at me ‘What's your body count’ in front of everyone. The boy was hardly 15 years old. He did that in front of my mother and my family!.”.

Urfi Javed once received a rape threat

This is not the first time Bigg Boss OTT 1 fame faced inappropriate comments and threats in public. In December 2022, Mumbai police arrested Naveen Giri for allegedly sending rape and death threats to Urfi Javed. 

As per ANI, he was charged under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment), 354(D) (stalking), 509, and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as the IT Act. Naveen had sent threatening messages to the social media influencer via WhatsApp.
