The ticket sales sparked widespread discussion on social media. Amid this, a techie took to X (formerly Twitter) to express exasperation on seeing a girl shell out ₹41,000 for concert tickets.

On September 10, a X (formerly Twitter) user Kanishk Khurana sparked an Internet debate. He shared that he saw a girl spend a mammoth amount on the tickets for Diljit Dosanjh's concert. He noted, "I just saw a girl pay 41,265 for Diljeet's concert tickets. It's a 3-hour concert." What he wrote next has left the internet divided.

Khurana also mentioned, “Y'all need to make better financial decisions please.” While many concurred with him, fans of the Lover fame defended him. A user wrote, “Diljit is worth it”. Another justified the amount by writing, “Some live well because they understand the real value of money, unlike financial influencers who often seem miserable.” Another wrote, “Dude can’t think everything like that, sometimes u need to do something like this for your heart. If everyone thinks like you then there won’t be any words called tourism and concerts. Everyone would think ohh what is the point of travelling its just a waste of money, but it aint like this.”

However, several agreed with Khurana as well. The tickets are selling out within minutes. It's crazy to think about how much he'll earn from just one concert.”

All about Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-luminati India tour 

Singer Diljit Dosanjh announced the dates for the Indian leg of the 'Dil-Luminati' Tour. The tour will kick off at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26 this year. Following Delhi, the tour will make its way to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Diljit in a note shared by the team of Saregama said he is excited to bring his tour to India.

The presale of tickets for the concert was available from 12.00 pm on 10th September, 2024 till 12:00 PM on 12th September, 2024. Following this, the tickets will be available for general purchase starting at 1:00 PM on 12th September, 2024.
