News of German actor Christian Oliver's death in a plane crash broke on January 5. The fatal plane crash also took the lives of Oliver's daughters, Madita, 12-years old and Annik, 10-years old. Christian Oliver's wife Jessica Klepser has broken her silence on the tragic news.

Christian OIiver's wife issues statement on the deaths


Christian Oliver's wife Jessica Klepser has finally addressed the news of her husband and daughters' passing. As per a PEOPLE report, Jessica's statement came through the official Instagram handle of Wundabar Pilates - for context, Jessica is the regional manager of the California branch of the pilates studio.

The statement, much like an obituary outlined the joy Madita and Anika brought to those around him. It also detailed how Christian Oliver would be deeply missed by his friends by the world over. Excerpts from the statement read, "The deep bond, infectious laughter, and adventurous spirit shared by Madita and Annik will be profoundly missed in their communities. Their devoted mother, Jessica Klepser in LA, survives the girls. They also leave behind their grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany...Christian, an actor in Europe and the US, and a real estate agent with a broad network of close friends worldwide, is survived by Jessica, his parents and sister in Germany. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him..."

Christian Oliver, Madita and Annik's plane crashed by the Caribbean


Particulars of the situation under which Oliver and his daughters died, was shared by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in an official statement. The pilot of the plane - also the owner, Robert Sachs, also died as a result of the crash.

The statement read, "Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” the authorities said at the time. “Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts."
