Matthew Perry, who is best known for his role as Chandler in the hit TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S, died due to accidental drowning in October 2023. Later, his autopsy report revealed that the death was attributed to "acute effects of ketamine" with drowning as the manner of his death. Following this, five people, including two doctors, an alleged drug dealer and his assistant, were booked in connection to his death. Now, a new documentary titled Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy, shedding light on Perry's final days claim that she was given 27 ketamine shots.
Matthew Perry was given 27 Ketamine shots in 3 days before death
Perry died at 54 in October 2023. The recently released documentary examining the actor's death and criminal charges against five people, reveals that he was administered 27 doses of ketamine by “people who should have known much better.” This was claimed by Martin Estrada, who previously supervised the investigation into Perry's death.
“Dr. Plasencia (Dr Salvador Plasencia) was very clear in text messages… that he saw this as an opportunity to make a lot of money in a short amount of time, and he allegedly did just that,” Estrada said in the documentary.

It is reported that Perry's assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa administered the last three doses of ketamine purchased from Jasveen Sangha, known as Ketamine Queen, using needles provided by Dr Salvador Plasencia.
"In the past, we used to call these things overdose deaths and do more blaming of the victim. We don't do that anymore. We blame the drug dealers, the drug sellers, for taking advantage of those addiction issues to cause death or serious injury, and that's why we bring these cases. The big takeaway from this case is that when people involved in reckless activity, whether that be drug dealing or other activity, cause the death of others, there needs to be accountability," Estrada added.
