George Clooney At Loggerheads With Margot Robbie After His Ocean’s 14 Announcement? Here’s What We Know

Ocean's is a series of heist films. The film with several sequels and spin-offs, has been loved by netizens for its great plot and brilliant acting skills. Reports have surfaced that George Clooney and Margot Robbie are at loggerheads in regard to this franchise.

Earlier George Clooney had given a stamp of approval to Robbie and Gosling portraying his on-screen parents in the upcoming Ocean’s 11 prequel. But, now there are reports that George has reportedly said that Ocean’s 14 is in works. He also said that the script is being drafted and he will be returning as the iconic Danny Ocean.

But, Margot Robbie is reportedly miffed with this surprising turn of events. As per reports, the Barbie star feels that the film won’t gain much traction as the veteran star has announced the sequel of the popular franchise.

When George Clooney had expressed his thoughts about Ocean’s 11 prequel

George Clooney expressed his thoughts at The Boys in the Boat premiere. He jokingly added that he has always envisioned Robbie as his mother and Gosling as his father in the film. “Margot Robbie’s my mother? I’ve always thought that. And Ryan Gosling is my father, and when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly,” the actor told Variety at The Boys in the Boat premiere.

The first sequel, Ocean's Twelve, was released in 2004, with the final film, Ocean's Thirteen, following in 2007. An all-female spin-off titled Ocean's 8 was released in 2018. The Ocean's film series was inspired by and based on the 1960 heist film Ocean's 11.

The most commercially successful was the first film, Ocean's Eleven (2001). It established the ensemble cast of George Clooney as Danny Ocean, Matt Damon as Linus Caldwell, and Brad Pitt as Rusty Ryan.
