Kannada actor and director Rishab Shetty who is currently busy with his upcoming film Kantara Chapter 1 has shared a glimpse of his New Year celebrations on social media platforms. The actor extended his warm wishes of the day to his fans. The actor celebrated with his family, which was filled with laughter and joy.

Inside Rishab Shetty's New Year celebration

On January 1, Rishab Shetty took to his Instagram and shared some happy candid pictures from the celebrations. In the album, he can be seen posing for the camera with his wife Pragathi Shetty and kids Ranvit and Radhya. He wrote in the caption in Kannada which is loosely translated to, "May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements and many new inspirations to your life. Wishing you a blessed year ahead. Happy New Year. Wishing you a very Happy New Year."

This is not the first time, Rishab Shetty has shared wholesome pictures of his family. Being a complete family man he never misses a festival or occasion to celebrate with his family. On December 30, Rishab shared a set of pictures of himself and Pragathi as they were holding a big bouquet of red roses as they smiled for the camera. He wrote, “Better Together.”

Earlier, Rishab also shared a bunch of pictures on his Instagram timeline of him creating a gallery of love with his family. The actor and his family look stunning in the traditional attire as they pose for the camera. "Creating a gallery of love through every family-filled moment," he wrote in the caption.

What to expect from Kantara Chapter 1 

Meanwhile, Rishab has begun shooting for the much-anticipated film, titled Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 on November 29. According to the actor-director, the film will explore the origins of the Panjurli Deiva and Guliga Deiva, which were core elements in the first instalment of the film.

The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Homable Films. The producer in a previous interview revealed that the film is likely to be pushed out by the last quarter of 2024 or the first quarter of 2025.
