Who Is Elizabeth Udayan? Bala's Ex-wife Who Accused Actor Of 'Abuse' And 'Rape'

Bala has been in the news for all the wrong reasons after he tied the knot with his now-wife Kokila, his fourth wife, last year. Earlier, he was married to singer Amritha Suresh and Dr Elizabeth Udayan. While Amritha accused the actor of assault and misbehaviour last year, Elizabeth stayed out of the public eye. However, for the first time, she has addressed the matter after a user accused her of taking 'sexual favours'. She took to her Facebook handle to react to the controversy and accused the actor of domestic abuse. She also claimed to be threatened by him.

Who is Elizabeth Udayan?

She is the third ex-wife of Bala, who works as a doctor and also serves as a vlogger. She is a surgeon and the duo reportedly met when Bala consulted her for surgery, possibly during his liver transplant a few years ago. On September 5, 2021, Bala married her but in 2023, they had begun living apart as revealed by Bala in an interview. She is now residing in Gujarat, while her parents are in Kerala.

Why Elizebth Udayan blasted at Bala?

Taking to her Facebook, she has shared screenshots of a comment on one of Bala and Kokila's interviews, accusing her of being 'sexually lured' by Elizabeth when he was her patient. He further urged to cancel her medical licence as she took his 'advantage'. This didn't go down well with Elizabeth and wrote, "Read my reply, if no police or anyone is ready to complaint at all this happening in front of media. I don't know. He is threatening me telling he will tell his past, he will leak our bedroom video, I had taken tablets for depression. But he didn’t tell me he abused me raped me he cheated many more girls my hands are shaking typing this because of helplessness. He publicly told I am infertile. He indirectly (said) I gave him wrong medicine (sic).”

She further added, "Ask him to cancel my medical license, we met in fb and I have all the msges and voice recordings he had with other women when he was with me. I dont know how he married again. He put wedding chain on me and invited people for wedding and wedding done in front of police. He and his mother told he can only register later because of problem in horroscope after his age of 41 and it is too much he mentally and physically harassing me and my family still i am afraid because of his gundas and previous threatening he had done. If ur continuing i am filing case against cheat me hitting me blackmailing me and all other case he had done. (sic)”

Who is Bala?

Malayalam and Tamil actor Bala caught quite the limelight after he got married for the fourth time to his Chennai-based relative Kokila. He was reportedly first married to Chandana Sadasiva. However, there is very little information about the actor's first wife. His second marriage was with the singer Amrutha Suresh in 2010.

On the work front, he made his acting debut with the Telugu film 2 Much in 2002 and went on to star in Hero, Thambi, Mukham, Veeram and  Ennu Ninte Moideen.
