FX's upcoming anthology, Feud: Capote vs The Swans, teased its viewers with a glimpse into the world of elite New York socialites. The first teaser dropped on Thursday, offering an insight into the riveting rivalry between high-class women of the era. The series stars Demi Moore, Naomi Watts, and Diane Lane as the main leads.

What is Feud about?

Set against the backdrop of the 1970s, the series revolves around popular author Truman Capote, portrayed by Tom Hollander. Adapted from the best-selling novel Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer, the show chronicles Capote's relationship with his female inner circle, the Swans, whom he ultimately betrays by revealing their clandestine lives in a published story.

The official synopsis reads, "Acclaimed writer Truman Capote betrays his relationships with members of New York high society by writing thinly-veiled accounts of their personal lives."

Who all will feature in Feud?

Featuring a star-studded cast including Demi Moore, Naomi Watts, and Diane Lane, the nearly one-minute teaser showcased a powerful dynamic in black and white. Dressed in bold black ensembles complemented by striking red lip shades, the ladies candidly confessed to their 'awful deeds' of betrayal, sex, and the complexities of maintaining relationships within the posh social circle.

The ensemble cast includes performances by Naomi Watts as Babe Paley, Chloë Sevigny as C.Z. Guest, Diane Lane as Slim Keith, Calista Flockhart as Lee Radziwill, and Demi Moore as Ann “Bang-Bang” Woodward.

Helmed by directors Gus Van Sant, Jennifer Lynch, and Max Winkler, this eight-episode limited series promises a deep dive into the tumultuous lives and relationships within this glamorous yet turbulent social circle. Mark your calendars for January 31 as the series debuts on FX, followed by streaming availability on Hulu the next day.
