Streaming app SonyLIV has secured the exclusive rights to showcase the series on its platform. While the cast is yet to be finalised, this development has already left the cinephiles excited.

Best known for his classic films like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Barjatya’s last directorial was Uunchai which was released in 2022. Post the movie’s success, Sooraj is reportedly turning into the OTT space. Film critic Rahul Raut broke the news through his Twitter and revealed that Badaa Naam Karenge could be released around Diwali 2024.

Badaa Naam Karenge is anticipated to echo Sooraj Barjatya's cherished storytelling style, known for its emphasis on family values and relationships. This venture marks Barjatya's foray into the digital space, offering a global audience a glimpse of his distinctive cinematic vision.

In addition to his debut in the digital realm, Barjatya is supporting his son Avnish's maiden film, Dono, as a producer.
