Idly Kadai: Dhanush Starrer D52 Gets Official Title, First Poster Unveiled

Dhanush, a few days ago, announced his next movie which will mark his fourth movie as director. On Thursday, the actor revealed the title of the movie with an intriguing first poster. The news has come after the Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) lifted the ban on the actor for accepting advance but not giving dates.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Dhanush shared the poster, which is more like a painting featuring a boy standing in front of a dimly lit shop. The movie is titled Idly Kadai. Sharing the poster, he simply wrote, "#D52 #DD4 Om Namashivaaya."

What else do we know about Idly Kadai?

The movie is being produced by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures  and Dhanush from his banner Wunderbar Films. It will reportedly star Nithya Menen, Ashok Selvan, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in pivotal roles. GV Prakash, who composed music for DD 3, i.e. Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, is reuniting with Dhanush for Idly Kadai. The music composer is reportedly done with two songs from the movie, including the shooting. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy working on Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film, produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, will also feature Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles. The actor will also appear in an upcoming movie based on the life of legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja. The movie will be directed by Arun Matheswaran, who also helmed Dhanush’s Captain Miller.
