Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram is geared up for his upcoming film Thangalaan. During the audio launch of the film, Vikram opened about the accident which changed his life. He also added how difficult it was for him to cope up with it, but his sheer determination made him bounce back.
According to reports, Chiyaan Vikram spoke about his accident at the audio launch of his upcoming film Thangalaan. He recalled thar it happened when he was young and still in college and had just began to dream of working in movies.
The accident took place when he was about to take part in a college-play. His one leg was crushed from knee to ankle, which even led to doctors suggesting to amputate his leg. Then, later to get his leg fixed, he had to undergo 23 surgeries within three years which took toll on him emotionally and physically.
While promoting his film Thangalaan in Hyderabad, Vikram said, “Rajamouli and I are good friends. We have been discussing for a while, to work together. We will definitely collaborate one day, but I am not sure whether it is going to be for SSMB 29 or anything else.”
Apart from Vikram, there have been reports that Prithviraj Sukumaran might play the role of antagonist in this prestigious project.
Thangalaan is an upcoming Tamil action film directed by Pa Ranjith. The film is based on on true events that tells the story of lives of mine workers in Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 15 this year.
Thangalann also stars Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Preeti Karan and Pasupathy among others.
