Hina Khan hospitalised after 'terrible nights' of high-grade fever, shares health update

Hina Khan, well known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, has been hospitalised. The actress took to her social media handle to share photos, detailing her nights with high fever. In the post, she even revealed that the temperature has been ranging between 102-103 for the past couple of days.

What happened to Hina Khan?

Hina Khan took to her Instagram handle and shared two photos to update her fans about her health condition. On December 28, she revealed that she has been suffering from high fever and even requested her followers to pray for her speedy recovery. “I have had four terrible terrible nights of high-grade fever. This shit won't come down only. Continuous 102-103 temperature. Uff no energy left now. It’s sickening. #lifeupdates for all those who are worried for me, I will bounce back. Inshallah, send in your love please (sic),” she wrote.

Minutes later, she posted a photo from the hospital bed wherein she was seen peeking out of the window. Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Life updates Day 4. #onedayatatime."

What's next for Hina Khan?

Country of Blind, the experimental film produced by notable TV actress Hina Khan has received a lot of acclaim in the last couple of months on festival circuit. The film is now reportedly in the running to be Indian’s official entry for the 96th Academy Awards that will happen in March next year.

Expressing her excitement about the subject, Hina Khan had said: "Fingers crossed for this to turn into a nomination! I am extremely happy to see all the hard work pay off in such a special way. From Cannes to the Oscars, it’s been an exciting journey."

Country of Blind is based on the eponymous novel by renowned classic author H.G.Wells.  Directed by Rahat Kazmi, the film also stars Anushka Sen, Shoib Nikash Shah, Namita Lal, Inam Ul Haq, Pradyuman Singh Mall and Jitendra Rai.
