He proposed the actress on national television during Bigg Boss season 11. Hina Khan gained fame after playing the role of Akshara in the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Her other notable works include, TV shows Kasauti Zindagi Kayy and Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth among others.
