The actress shared that she moved to Jaipur for further studies after completing schooling. She revealed that she opted for a Hotel Management course and simultaneously took on small jobs such as working as a hostess at events and undertaking various roles to earn a modest income.

Recalling her early gigs, Jasmin Bhasin shared that she used to earn around rupees 500 or 1000 for hosting events. She shared that her turning point came when a renowned photographer's team, staying at the hotel where she worked, approached her for a brand photoshoot. Earning rupees 5000 for this opportunity, her pictures were put up in hoardings and newspapers which opened the doors for more lucrative photoshoots and projects.

Approached by a Delhi-based photographer for a portfolio shoot, Jasmin, facing financial constraints, found support as the photographer agreed to charge nothing. The resultant pictures led to an advertisement opportunity in the South industry, where she earned rupees 27,000 for a day's work.

Upon moving to Mumbai, Jasmin faced financial challenges and struggled to pay rent. However, an ad opportunity brought her rupees 30,000, providing a reprieve.

Jasmin on bagging her breakthrough role

Jasmin's breakthrough came with the TV show Tashan-e-Ishq, a game-changer in her professional life. This opportunity opened doors to more TV projects. The actress expressed gratitude for her parents' unwavering support, revealing how her mother travelled with her initially on shoots. She recalled emotional moments of financial struggle, odd jobs like distributing pamphlets, and the pivotal role a Creative Producer played in helping her secure her first TV show.
