Jr NTR Fans Get Angry And Break Chairs After Devara Pre-release Event Cancelled In Hyderabad | WATCH

Jr NTR is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action thriller Devara: Part 1, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor . The actor was supposed to attend a pre-release event in Hyderabad today, September 22, but the management had to cancel it. This didn't go down well with Jr NTR fans and they went berserk at the venue.

Jr NTR fans break chairs after Devara pre-release event gets cancelled

Jr NTR, along with director Trivikram, who was supposed to serve as Chief Guest at an event, were advised to leave the venue after the turnout exceeded capacity and became unmanageable. It was reported that Jr NTR's fans attempted to enter the auditorium from all sides. Owing to the same, the management had to cancel the pre-release event. This left the fans angry and they started damaging the goods, such as chairs and glass, present in the venue. Videos of the same are going viral on the internet.

In one of the videos, fans can be seen jumping and breaking the chair to take out their frustration.

In another video, fans can be seen shouting at the management present at the venue after the show was cancelled.

A section of the internet lashed out at the management for "poor" execution. A fan, who got stuck at the venue, shared several videos from the venue on X and wrote, "Worse management by @shreyasmedia or whomever thought of making this event . Its swamped up here and no use of your event passes MIP or whatsoever u have printed.  We cant even exit now."

It is being reported that the makers will organise another pre-release event in Hyderabad in the next two days.

What else do we know about Devara?

Helmed by Koratala Siva, the movie is set in the 1980s and 1990s. It is an epic action saga centred around Devara, a fearless man from a coastal region who embarks on a perilous journey into the treacherous world of the sea to safeguard the lives of his people. Unbeknownst to him, his brother Bhaira is plotting a conspiracy against him. As events unfold, Devara passes on his legacy to his mild-mannered and timid son, Varada.

The movie will hit the theatres on September 27.
