Mirayi is a Japanese term meaning 'future'. The reference in this regard is to the plot of the film which involves the protagonist coming across a special device that would take him into the future. The film is also rumoured to be mounted on grand action sequences and strong visual effects. It is worth noting that Manchu Manoj will be playing the antagonist in Mirayi - a career first for the actor.
