Robinhood: Australian Cricketer David Warner To Star In Nithiin Starrer? Producer Shares Major Update

Dream come true moment for Australian batsman and former captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner. Time and again, he has proved himself as one of the biggest fans of Allu Arjun's Pushpa character Pushpa Raj and often enacts his signature step on the field during the Indian Premier League (IPL). He also expressed his wish to star in one of the Indian movies and has already won the hearts of Indian audiences when he starred in an Indian advertisement. Now, it's time to make his wish come true by featuring him in one of the Telugu movies.

David Warner makes Indian cinema debut with Nithiin starrer Robinhood

During one of the promotional events, Mythri Movie Makers’s Ravi Shankar spilled the beans stating that David Warner will have a cameo appearance in Robinhood. He further hinted that Warner had already shot his portion and is waiting for his big-screen debut. Producer said, "David Warner has done a cameo in the film, it’ll be exciting.”

According to a media report, Warned had shot his portion during his Australia tour last year in September. Some visuals of the actor from sets were also leaked, but neither Warner nor the Robinhood team confirmed the same.

What do we know about Robinhood?

It is an action, crime and thriller drama about a modern-day Robin Hood. Earlier, the movie was supposed to release in December 2024 but was postponed to March 28, 2025, for a reason better known to the makers. Robinhood is about a modern-day Robin Hood who faces a challenging mission that is filled with love, action, and fun. The movie is helmed by Venky Kudumula and co-stars Sreeleela, Lal, Vennela Kishore and Dayanand Reddy.
