Salaar box office collection: Prabhas starrer earns over ₹600 crores worldwide in 10 days

Salaar, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, was released in theaters on December 22. It is made by the makers of the Kannada films KGF.

Salaar, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan hit the theaters on December 22 in five languages including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. The film opened to a whopping ₹95 crores on its release day, and ever since the film has been creating history and breaking records all across. The film, in 10 days of its release, has earned over Rs 600 crore worldwide.

Salaar crosses ₹600 crore mark worldwide

On January 1, on the occasion of New Year, the makers of Prabhas starrer Salaar took to their official Instagram handle Salaar The Saga and announced that the film has earned a total of Rs 625 crores worldwide, calling it a 'record-breaking blockbuster.'

Sharing the post, the makers wrote, "𝑲𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒂𝒓… 𝑰’𝒎 𝑺𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚! Unstoppable #SalaarCeaseFire has crossed a massive ₹ 𝟔𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐆𝐁𝐎𝐂 (worldwide)."

What more do we know about Salaar?

Salaar is by the makers of the highly-acclaimed Kannada films KGF and KGF Chapter 2. The same director as KGF, Prashanth Neel has helmed the film, as Hombale Productions, the production banner behind KGF films has backed the Prabhas starrer. Salaar, much before its release, was announced to be a two-part film. After the release of the first part, at the now-released end of the film, the makers announced Salaar's sequel's title -- Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.

The film will show the same cast as the now-released film, maybe a few additional characters will be seen here and there. More details about the same is awaited.
