Venkatesh Daggubati is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Saindhav. On Wednesday, January 3, the actor launched the trailer in Hyderabad and said that the upcoming film is one of his career's best films. He promised the audience a realistic, new-age action thriller.

Speaking at the trailer launch event, Venkatesh said that Saindhav has come out very well and he is confident that the audience will like it. For his 75th film, he wanted to go for a  complete makeover and Saindhav gave him the opportunity to be a part of a "fast-paced, realistic, new-age action thriller".

"Saindhav has come out very well and I’m confident you all will like it. I hope to receive this encouragement yet again after the love you’ve given me these years. I’m really lucky to have got such a script for my 75th film. I wanted to go for a complete makeover and Saindhav gave me the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, realistic, new-age action thriller amidst an emotional backdrop,” he said.

Venkatesh played his real age in Saindhav

In the same event, the veteran actor shared that he played his real age and it will be a  treat for audiences this Sankranthi. He praised the technicians, director and producer and said that they had done a "wonderful job". “You’ll be involved in it from the 15th minute. It’s a different film for a new-age audience and a treat for audiences this Sankranthi."

"The technicians, director and producer have done a wonderful job. I don’t want to hype up the film beyond necessity (laughs). I won’t disappoint you because Saindhav is one of the best films in my career,” he concluded.

Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, the action-thriller stars  Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya, Andrea Jeremiah, Shraddha Srinath, Baby Sara and Ruhani Sharma in pivotal roles. The film will release on January 13, clashing with Ravi Teja's Eagle.
