A Guide To Better Food Digestion; Don’t Mix These Foods With Milk
Did you know that milk does not blend well with everything that you can grab with your hand? Check out why.
There is rarely someone we come across who knows what to pair with which food. And sometimes because of our wrong pairing of food, we end up in uncomfortable situations such as diarrhoea, gas, bloating etc.
Often time we love pairing our milk with bananas, and cookies, and even use it to cook a whole meal. But did you know that milk does not blend well with everything that you can grab with your hand?
These are the foods you must avoid pairing with milk to avoid constipation and all other ill effects of mixing the wrong foods.
Foods you must avoid pairing with milk
Pairing banana with milk
It may blend well with your taste buds but pairing banana with milk can disturb your digestion and lead to increased production of toxin in your body.
Pairing fish with milk
Weird? No, people cook fish with milk, and this technique is called poaching. Experts say that poaching fish in milk makes it creamier and aromatic. Mixing these two proteins could make the digestion slower, leading to constipation.
Pairing citrusy fruits with milk
It is generally not advised to mix citrusy fruits with milk. Mixing acidic fruit with milk will curdle the protein in the milk leading to numerous diseases.
Pairing egg with milk
You may bake a loaf of healthy bread and cakes, mixing milk and egg with flour to relish with your family, but drinking milk while eating eggs can cause stomach infections. And you’ll experience bloating, diarrhoea and other digestive risks.
It is always good to know what you're putting inside your body. Especially when you are pairing foods, be mindful if you don't want to experience an explosion of diarrhoea.
Stay safe!
