Ahead of the Committee of Administrators (CoA)’s crucial meeting on whether India should play Pakistan in the 2019 ICC World Cup, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has batted for cricket with Pakistan despite the cowardly Pulwama terror attack. Continuing with his Twitter tirade, the Congress leader questioned and asked: "government did not declare national mourning and wants to cancel a match 3 months from now?"

He further went on to take a jibe at the ruling party by claiming that "BJP wants to divert attention from its own fecklessness" in which it handled the crisis. Take a look:

In an unprecedented move, the BCCI has also prepared a draft letter asking the ICC to ban Pakistan from participating in the upcoming World Cup. However, this has not gone down well with Congress leader Shashi Tharoor as the leader reminded the nation that two countries played the World Cup even at the height of Kargil war in 1999.

Taking to twitter Tharoor 'reminded' that "at the height of the 1999 Kargil War, India played Pakistan in the cricket World Cup, and won'.

Tharoor's tweet comes at a time when the entire nation is shocked at the cowardly terror attack by Pakistan-based terror outfit in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama in which over 40 of paramilitary jawans attained martyrdom. After the deplorable Pulwama terror attack against Indian soldiers, calls for an all-round boycott of Pakistan have rung across the entire nation.
