PM Modi extends greetings on the occasion of Chhath Pooja

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the citizens of the country on the occasion of Chhath Pooja. The Prime Minister wished the country on Twitter. He said, "My heartiest congratulations to the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Mahaparva Chhath. May the Sun God always keep us all enlightened with his energy and aura and our country continues to climb new steps of success and prosperity."

The greetings

Prime Minister was not the only politician to wish the nation on the occasion. Several leaders extended their greetings on the occasion on Twitter.

Home Minister Amit Shah extended his wishes and said, "Heartfelt greetings to all the countrymen of 'Chhath Puja', the great festival of sun worship and public faith."

Founder and leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) said, "Heartfelt greetings to all of you on Mahaparva Chhath Puja, symbol of folk faith, sun worship and the world's largest fully eco-friendly, egalitarian and socialist thinking."

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and founder and leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said, "My best wishes to all my brothers and sisters of Purvanchal on Chhath Mahaparva. On this auspicious occasion, I pray to Suraj Dev and Chhathi Maiya to bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all of your family. Jai VI Maiya!"

The Delhi Chief Minister later posted pictures of him celebrating the festival with the caption: "Saying blessings to the Sixth Maiya by offering Arghya to the soaring sun god at the Bajrangi Ghat of Yamuna, Hail the Sixth Maiya!"

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, "Best wishes to all of you on Mahapath Chhath of folk faith and nature worship."

JDU Minister Sanjay Jha said, "Heartfelt greetings to all of you for the faith, faith and worship of nature. Asthachalagami Bhagwan Bhaskar illuminate the lives of all of you with health, happiness and prosperity."

Famous Chef Sanjeev Kapoor suggested a must-have sweet on the occasion. He said, "This popular sweet is a must-have during Chhath Puja. Try making it in your kitchen this year. Happy Chhath Puja."
