PM Modi visits unique cactus garden in Kavadia on his birthday

On the occasion of his 69th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his home state of Gujrat. He stopped to observe a cactus garden in Kevadia on Tuesday

On the occasion of his 69th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is on his way to visit his home state Gujarat. While he started his day by making a quick visit to the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Kevadia on Tuesday, he also visited a unique cactus garden in the area. Visiting the cactus garden, PM Modi was seen keenly observing the plants. He also said the government should keep taking people’s feedback to further improve the garden and make it more popular. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Governor Acharya Devvrat also accompanied him on the visit.

He also visited the Statue of Unity

While in Kevadia, he visited the Statue of Unity. The PM, on his official Twitter account, shared a small clip of the Statue of Unity, giving the world a short glimpse of the majestic statue. 

In addition to that, he also visited the Ekta Nursery, which is situated in the vicinity of the Statue of Unity and manufactures various traditional eco-friendly products while also offers a live demonstration of their manufacturing process to the visitors. PM Modi’s visit is also seen as an attempt to bring back focus to further improve the local environment and enhance tourist facilities in Kevadia.

The Butterfly Effect

The Prime Minister on his visit to the garden also briefly stopped over at the butterfly garden in Kevadia, where he was seen setting hundreds of butterflies free. PM Modi is expected to meet his mother later today, to seek her blessings on his birthday. Last year, PM Modi celebrated his birthday by spending time with school children from his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
