Speaking in the Lok Sabha during the Zero Hour, Defence minister Rajnath Singh said transgression by Chinese forces does take place and Indian forces also go for patrolling along forward locations.

"Whenever a situation of confrontation comes between forces of both...they handle it maturely," Singh said. "All this happens due to perceptional differences between India and China on issues related to border," he said.

The Defence Minister was responding to a query by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury who raised the issue in Zero Hour, asking "why the government does not react to Chinese incursion similar to what we do with Pakistan? Why do we fear from China while Indian forces are not less strong than any country?"

Chowdhury raised the issue in the wake of spotting of a Chinese ship in India's exclusive economic zone in the Andaman sea.

Singh said forces of the two countries are mature enough and settle their disputes amicably.
