3.7 magnitude earthquake hits J&K's Kishtwar

The news was confirmed by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). As per the department, the earthquake occurred during the early hours on Tuesday at 1:10 am.

Kishtwar: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Kishtwar district of India's hill valley Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Tuesday.

The news was confirmed by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). As per the department, the earthquake occurred during the early hours on Tuesday around 1:10 am at a depth of 5 km.

The NCS on X post, "Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.7, Occurred on 26-12-2023, 01:10:26 IST, Lat: 33.36 & Long: 76.67, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, India."

As of now no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
