Indigo Airlines Receives Bomb Threats: 3 Flights Land, 2 Still Mid-Air

New Delhi: In a shocking series of events, another five Indigo Airlines flights have been targeted with bomb threats. Out of the five, three have safely landed, while two flights remain mid-air.
Indigo Airlines has responded to the threats releasing a statement addressing the situation.
The airline confirmed that Flight 6E 17, operating from Mumbai to Istanbul, received a bomb threat. "The safety and security of our passengers and crew is our highest priority," the statement read, further noting that they are working closely with authorities to manage the situation. Necessary precautions are being taken in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
Another flight, 6E 184, flying from Jodhpur to Delhi, also received a security alert but has since landed safely in Delhi. Passengers disembarked, and the airline emphasized it is cooperating with security agencies to ensure the highest level of safety. "We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused our customers and appreciate their understanding," the airline added.
In a similar incident earlier on Saturday morning five Air India flights also received bomb threats. A user on X (formerly Twitter), with the handle adamlanza555, is suspected of issuing the threats, contributing to widespread concern.
These recent threats have brought the total number of targeted flights to nearly 70 in just past five days. Security agencies are on high alert, and investigations are ongoing to track down the source of these threats and ensure the safety of passengers and airline operations across the country.
