BIG LEAD in Jharkhand Illegal Mining Case: ED Recovers Banned Cartridges from Soren’s Aide

RanchiIn connection with the raids conducted on Wednesday by the Enforcement Directorate in the illegal mining case, ED has recovered 14 rounds of 9mm cartridge from the residence of the DC of Sahibganj. According to the ED, the cartridges seized are banned. Besides these, the ED has also seized electronic devices from the residence of Abhishek Prasad, Hemant Soren's press advisor. ED is currently examining the digital records. 

The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday raided the premises of some close associates of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Ranchi as part of a money laundering probe into alleged illegal mining in the state. ED raided 12 locations, including the residence of Abhishek Prasad, Hemant's press advisor, the residence of Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner. Rajendra Dubey, DSP, Hazaribag, was also raided by the ED. Ram Nivas, District Collector of Sahibganj, was also under the ED radar, including his residence in Rajasthan.
