A gas pipeline explosion on Magzine VIP Road in Assam's Guwahati on Thursday afternoon resulted in injuries to three individuals, including a woman. The incident occurred during a test conducted by Purva Bharati, the company overseeing the pipeline's installation. Raju Kalita, Debjit Sharma, and Reena Tide suffered injuries in the blast and were swiftly transported to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital for urgent medical attention. Reena sustained severe injuries, prompting immediate care at GMCH. The explosion not only caused injuries but also inflicted damage on a four-wheeler and an auto rickshaw in the vicinity.

Initial reports suggest that the mishap occurred during a leak test involving water, leading to the sudden rupture of the gas pipeline. Emergency responders, including Noonmati Police, promptly arrived at the scene to manage the situation and provide necessary assistance.
